Chances for MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Dartmouth, Northwestern, UChicago, UMich-Ross

MIT-reach
Stanford-reach
Princeton-high reach
Dartmouth-match
Northwestern-match
UChicago-in
UMich-Ross-in

MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Dartmouth, and Northwestern are reaches because of GPA. You are lucky that Michigan does not look at freshman grades so I would say that is a match. And write good essays for UChicago, or else it is a reach.

Please help me out?

Williams or Pomona anyone?

you haven't really hit your peak yet if you're a junior.. so it's hard to tell. i'd call Uchicago/northwestern low reach, dartmouth low-regular reach, MIT/stanford/princeton reaches, and i don't know the UMich school..

"Very important leadership program for H.S. to teach middle schooler about drugs/alchol"
"I know my peer rec will be phenomenal because I plan on giving it to my friends who I baiscally tutored through PreCalc last year"
Leave the importance/amazingness judgment to the colleges reviewing your application. If you write an essay about Snowflake, then the colleges may see it a bit differently, but it's not like your school is the only one to have a program like that, ya know? Also, your karate achievement, while extremely awesome, is not a hook.. it's a great aspect of your ECs/honors.

ah.. williams - low-mid reach, pomona - high match

k i appreciate that a lot. yeah considering thats my only "committed" sport i was hoping it would give me a boost.

lets bump this sucker
