Chances for MIT?

Hello Guys! This is my first post here, so please excuse my noobness. lol
Initially, my aim had always been to get into MIT. I will now indicate my current status both academically and non-academically. Btw, I am an American studying in Turkey, currently a junior. Therefore, months left for my application and I would be pleased to receive your valuable comments for admission.
SAT I : 790 ( math) 690 writing 680 critical reading
SAT II: Physics 790 Maths 2 780
Current GPA 4.95 / 5.00
However, there is something I am afraid of. My class rank.. It is 45 among 535 people... It is because I am taking the most rigorous program that my school offers. It is the National Curriculum with the IB Curriculum. This immense program challenges me as well as reduces my average ( currently 89/100). There are lots of people taking the easiest courses and getting ahead of me. But I know that MIT loves students who challenge themselves. So, as I do academically, I challenge myself non-academically as well! I organize helping organizations for poor and disabled people. I have also participated the national science fair and made a project that became famous all over the country. Surprisingly, my project was on the news. I am also going to represent my school in the national physics olympiad next week. I have participated harvard summer school, principles of physics, and gained 8 credits. I am a licensed shooter. I play the piano very well. I am into programming and know Basic and C++. And, btw, my elder brother, who is a renowned professor in a prestigious college ( I wouldn't like to indicate his name or the college's) got his MS and PhD from MIT.
SO, That is all folks! I would greatly appreciate your valuable comments ( especially about my class rank) and thank you for sparing your time to read my post! Have a wonderful day!

Work on your scores, note MIT has one f the highest average CR scores in the country. They lso want to see math/science competitions.

Chances are this thread will be close unless you create another one in the chances section.

You might have a good chance. I was admitted to MIT’s class of 2016 so I know what they’re looking for.

If possible you might want to participate in math competitions. Pretty much everyone I know who got into MIT participated in USAMO or MOP. However, in Turkey it’s a bit different. I believe they have their own national olympiad, in which the top qualifiers advance to IMO. Going to IMO really strengthens an application.

Also, you might want to retake the SAT or the subject tests in order to notch those 800s on math/science. They simply look better than a 790. Overall, your SAT scores are pretty solid. Keep in mind my reading score was a mere 610 and MIT still accepted me.

Other than that, your application looks pretty solid. Keep those grades up. Good luck!
