Chances for MIT

I am currently a Senior, and I am planning on majoring in Mechanical Engineering:
Unweighted GPA: 3.93
Class rank: 5 of 126
Weighted: 4.25 (I have taken nothing but honors and AP classes, but my creative arts high school has fewer opportunities to take weighted classes)
Only 4 B's in high school: Sem. 1 civics in grade 9, 2 art classes in grade 9, and 1 junior year gym class.

SAT: 2060 (690 math, 690 CR, and 680 Writing)
SAT 2: 770 math 2, and 640 physics (The physics score is lower, as my junior year physics class never covered optics, waves, or electromagnetism)
AP's: Calc AB (highest level math class offered at my school) 5, APUSH 4, AP eng. lang. and comp. 3
I am currently taking AP stats, AP eng. lit. and comp., and AP Biology (My school does not offer AP physics anymore, due to budget cuts)
AMC 12 score: 61.5

EC's/Activities/Awards:
-Relatively good airsoft mechbox tech
-Taught myself general woodworking, as well as how to build electric guitars (Link to gallery: http://s1222 (dot) photobucket (dot) com/user/aik500000/library/AK%20guitars?sort=3&page=1 ). This includes all of the woodwork, as well as winding some of the pickups, and wiring all of the components. I can afford the lumber, hardware, and tools because I also build guitars and parts to sell on the internet, and I repair broken guitars. My afternoon art curriculum has been replaced with a woodworking-based independent project.
-Guitar playing (obviously)
-3rd place winner of the Eleanor Friedberg art scholarship competition
-My artwork and a few of my guitars were featured at a local gallery opening
-Presenter at the 2012 Pittsburgh Expo of Excellence, a showcase of the city's best long term projects
-Received a school scholarship to attend the Touchstone "Irons in the Fire" Blacksmithing masterclass.
-NHS member
-Certified (if that is the correct word) Black belt in martial arts
-National Hispanic Merit Scholar Finalist
I am lacking volunteer work mainly because I spend a lot of time helping my parents take care of my younger brother, who has autism.

Rec. Letters (1-10): 8-9
Essays (1-10): 9-10

I had my interview already, and at the end my EC highly recommended that I visit the campus, just to make sure that MIT would be a good fit. I cannot read people at all, so I still am not quite sure if this is a good thing. But anyway, my nerves are wrecked, since my SAT's and my score on the AMC 12 are definitely not as good as they could be, since I do my best work and think my best when I work in groups. From what I know about the school (especially MISTI, and the on campus woodshop), I can say with ease that MIT is the school that I want to attend, and I am sick with the idea that I may not get in. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, AK.

MIT - High Reach.

Your SAT score is wayyy too low, especially your math section.

MIT: reach
your test scores are too low and your ECs dont stand out

MIT is a reach for pretty much everyone, and unfortunately you’re not an exception. What other colleges are you applying to?

Reach. Low SAT’s are the bad thing but thankfully you are an URM.

high reach.

Reach, but not impossible.
