Chances for MIT?

Would you guys tell me my chances for MIT?

Here are my stats:

White Male
4.0/4.0 GPA (unweighted)
27 Composite on ACT (Retaking for 30+)
Have taken SAT II Physics, Math I, and Writing, expecting above 700 for all
AP English
Post-Secondary English
AP Calculus

ECs:
NHS VP (11-12)
Robotics Club (10-12)
Spanish Club (11-12)
Biology Lab Aide/Researcher (9-12)
Academic Challenge (10, 12)

Thanks!

but ur ecs are a little weak... i think u have a better chance than most of the people on these message boards though...

a 27 composite for ACT is really not going to cut it O_O

What about a 30 ACT Composite?
I'd also like to emphasize how much time being a Bio Aide takes. I don't have any study halls or lunch periods. Any free time is used in the Bio Lab.

Is your Bio Lab research all on the same topic th past years? If it is that is realy good, becuase colleges like people who have a passion for something, and if you work on the Bio Lab for a huge amount of time all of the past years its going to to increse your chances alot(as far as I know).

Also great GPA, good job.

I've researched/assissted with water quality testing for the past 3 years. It's pretty interesting stuff. However, I'm planning to enter into a more engineering/math related area. Does this hurt my chances?

It's hard to get into MIT with only two APs, even though one of them is calculus.

I'd also like to mention my ACT subject scores:

32 English
28 Math
25 Science Reasoning
22 Reading

27 Composite

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could raise my Sci. Reasoning and Reading scores? I've read Princeton Review books, but I still have trouble answering all the questions in those sections in the 35 minutes they give you.

For MIT they only want to know what major your thinking about taking. So I doubt it will hurt anything. I think it should be good.

My high school is pretty small and the only other AP course offered is AP English 12. I opted for post-secondary English instead.
