<p>I have a 3.0/4.0 in an EE program at a top 10 US university. I TA a CS course and have had a software engineering internship. My GRE Scores: V/Q/A 710/800/5. I will be taking the CS subject test too.</p>
<p>What are my chances at an MS CS program? I am looking at Stanford, UT Austin, U of Washington, Caltech, Rice, USC, UC Irvine</p>

<p>ballpark guess based on perceived difficulty of admission:</p>
<p>Caltech: 0% chance (they only take PhD’s)
S/UTA/UW: 15% chance
Rice: 20% chance
UCI: 30% chance
USC: 40% chance</p>
<p>Ace the GRE (85-95%) and add 30 to all of those numbers</p>
<p>You can get an idea of odds over at gradcafe… some 3.0-range people who did the whole grad process hang around there.</p>
