-Bharatnatiyum (classical Indian dance): 7 years, performed at 20 shows, 1st prize at India Day Dance Competition, 2004, other awards. Devoting 7 hours a week to do it. </li>
<li>Kathak Dance (10-11), like Bharatnatiyum,
-Jazz (8 - 12). </li>
<li>Performed with Detroit Symphony Orchestra this year in a select group of kids at her/my school to sing compositions for the Final Fantasy Video Game. Live concert, as well.</li>
<li>State Honors Choir (7th-9th)
-State Solo Ensamble (9-11th)</li>
<li>State Solo Ensambe. Performed a trio (9th and 10th)</li>
<li>Will do Select Vocal Ensambe next year. Top group of singers.</li>

<p>1680!? out of 2400????</p>

<p>Her 4.0 GPA and very good class rank will certainly make her a competitive coandidate. SAT IIs are not considered by Michigan. But if her SAT, assuming it is a 1680/2400 is a little low. She will have to redo it and get over a an 1800 is she wants a reasonable shot. Actually, what she really wants is to get a 1200+ on the original 2 sections of the SAT. The new section will also not be considered this coming fall.</p>

<p>She needs to bring it up to maybe 2100 or so.</p>

<p>2100 would not just get her in, but it will get her into the Honors college. 1950 would be more than enough to make her a solid match.</p>

<p>She didn't prepare at all.
But she has a 4.0 UM GPA, and on practice SAT she is averaging 2000 now. More comments?</p>
