I'm currently attending "Georgia Highlands." It is a community college in Georgia. I graduated from HS in 2011. My first year there was terrible. My grades were rock bottom. I didn't do my work, I was lazy, and I simply didn't care enough. It killed my GPA. I treated it as a game. Since then I've been gradually fixing MY GPA along with my work habits. My current average is 1.62. Yeah I know, laugh away. I'm happy though because I know that I'm doing something about it to make it better rather than giving up.

Like I said my GPA is currently a 1.62 with 21 hours credited 32 hrs attempted. I'm taking 3 classes this semester, 3 credits each. I'm working to make them all A's. If all goes well I will have a 2.0.

My goal is to either transferring to & GPA required to transfer
Kennesaw State (2.0)
Georgia State (2.5)
University of Georgia (2.8) #1 choice

Do colleges look at improvement? Look I know my GPA looks like crap. It is a reflection of who I was not who I am today. Today I am a hard worker who takes responsibility of my work and I want for them to see that. I mean if you look at my transcript it look VERY bad at first but it does get better.

I hope they do because I know some students I graduated with who went to the schools I listed and now are home because they flunked out.

If you guys need additional information please let me know.
