<p>I am currently a sophomore and am thinking about applying to NCSSM. </p>
<p>I live in District 4 (the most competitive) :( </p>
<p>I got a 1790 on my SAT during my freshman year, but i think when i take it as a sophomore it will be higher since i prepped all summer. This SAT score is higher than the average score for the seniors at my school. </p>
<p>I am also ranked #2 in my class. </p>

<p>I am not taking band this year because it did not fit into my schedule, but I am going to work with the teacher once a week and still play with the band for concerts. </p>
<p>I also have played flute for 8 years and dance for local Indian programs for 7 years. I have also played softball for 7 years and played school ball last year. </p>
<p>I am also in key club, math club, Spanish club (have a leadership role), mock trial, and environmental club (have a leadership role), and in my local youth group from which i have over 100 volunteer hours. </p>
<p>My school only has a middle school science Olympiad team, and i was on the team for my eighth grade and freshmen year. Both years i placed at regional 2 of 3 events and states once although i went to states both years. This year I am just volunteering to help out the team. </p>
<p>I also volunteered at the hospital over the summer for 80 hours. </p>
<p>I was just wandering what you think my chances of getting in for the residential program are? </p>
