Strong essay writer, strong teacher recs

Schools I’m applying to:
NCSU, UNC, UVA, UC Berkeley, Georgia Tech, Maryland, MIT, VTech, Clemson, Purdue, UCLA, Cornell, Duke, Vanderbilt

Wondering my chances on these schools, any help is appreciated. Thx!

Cornell, UCLA, Duke, Vandy, MIT High reaches–unlikely
UCB, GT, UNC, UVA high matches

Rest you should be fine. Is your HS well known among all these schools? I’m surprised your 3.72 puts you in the top 10%. DSs 3.93 puts him just below 10% at his school.

Thanks for the tip!

School is well known, but ranks GPA based on weighted GPA. Class size is about 700

Bump

I don’t know that much about a lot of the schools on your list, but wanted to point out to the others that I believe your GPA is on a 5 point scale since you’re in NC, making it very competitive. You should get into NCSU, UNC, Purdue and VT. I really don’t know enough about the rest. Good luck!

I would say “UCB, GT, UNC, UVA” are reaches for you too, considering your unweighted GPA and being “Male
-Asian Indian”.
