I'm applying to the first 3 through QuestBridge so I don't know if this would belong in that thread? But in general what do you feel my chances are (if I was just applying RD)?</p>
<p>Hispanic female from a pretty good public school in Southern California, but it's not particularly competitive or anything.
First generation</p>
<p>I plan on majoring in either Psych or Finance</p>
<p>Testing/Grades:
-SAT: 2050 (760 W 650 R 640 M) - not good, especially since a lot of schools just look at R + M, but I think I can break 2200 in October
-SAT II: 790 US History, 690 Lit, 650 Math II (retaking Math/Lit)
-ACT: 31 (retaking as well)
-GPA: 4.62 weighted, 4.0 unweighted
-Rank: My school doesn't do rankings but I am definitely in the top 1% (probably top 3-5 in a class of 500-600)
-AP: 5 on Human Geography, European History, US History, Psychology, Spanish (taking Biology, Calculus AB, US Gov't/Politics, English Lit, and possibly French this year)
-IB: 6 on Psychology SL; I'm a Diploma candidate so I'll be taking Bio, English, and History of the Americas HL; French and Math SL</p>

-School Food drive (doesn't sound that important but it's a huge event at my school) - 36 hours
-ArtMiles (UN organization; decorate shoes to send to 3rd world countries) - 12ish hours
-Peer tutoring - 10ish hours (I will be doing a lot more this year)
-Help for Brain Injured Children - local charity, I'm going to start there in a few weeks for my CAS so I'll have ~80 hours by the end of the year</p>
