CHances for ND

First off congratulations to everyone who got in EA you guys are lucky....

SAT: 1380/1600 730M 650 V

Curriculum: 7AP's all the rest honors throughout hig hschool
Essay: I wrote about one of my main ec's which was coaching a youth soccer team all throughout high school so I thought it was pretty good
E/C's As mentioned the coaching all throughout high school
Latin Club throughout all of high school
Helping Hands which is a service club
Mentoring Sophmores
Soccer
Honor Society
Junior Honor Society
An internship at Rolls Royce which will turn into a co-op, I think this is big because I put down engineering as prospective major
a bunch of awards

i hope you have a chance... because your stats are very similar to mine

I think you have a pretty good shot

ditto....

still it all boils down to whether you get lucky or not. I don't want to sound cavalier because it is an established fact that ND is trying to choose those they think will be suited to the environment academically, religiously, blaghh blagh blagh....

But I know plenty of people who make it into one school only to be waitlisted and rejected at other schools of comparable or lesser rank. Hope things work out for you, reads like you stand a good chance...

bump... .new gpa is 4.395 and new class rank is 18/840 more importantly though my mid term grade report was straight a's including 5 ap classes and an engineering internship

and i forgot... i am a first generation as well

How else besides not filling out the section of the application entitled "college attended by parents" would you let the Admissions Counselors know that you are a first-generation college student? I am in the same boat, and while i do not like using that as leverage, i understand what a significant tilt it is...

yea that's how they would know
