bump, I’m also an AP scholar, although I’ve heard it doesn’t help much.

Whoa, we may have met at NCSMA Summer Institute (assuming you went there haha).

I don’t know that Northeastern’s admission depends directly on major. I think that you would apply into the Business school, and then choose IB when you get there? Not sure. But you can check whenever the Common App is released. As far as the University goes, I’d say that your stats could get you in. I’ve been told that it is hard to transfer into the Business school, and that the BSIB track is hard to catch up on, so if BSIB is what you may want to do, you should definitely apply into it.

Also, if it makes a difference to you, I was told it is hard to double major in something like Business and Journalism (if you have any interest in pursuing that at the college level - there’s always The Huntington News (school paper)). But there is also a journalism minor!

Being AP Scholar is something that shows up on your AP score report, so colleges won’t know about it unless you tell them or send your AP scores (most people don’t until after they’ve chosen the school they plan to attend). With your strong grades, colleges might assume that you did well on the exams for the 3+ AP classes you’ve taken.
