Chances for Northeastern!

Hi, I’d really like to know what my chances are for Northeastern.
My GPA is: 3.7 unweighted, 4.2 weighted.
MY ACT is a 33 (36 English, 34 science and reading, 27 math) currently, subject to rise.
I have four AP courses under my belt currently and I’ll have two or three more next year.
I don’t know if these will factor or not, but I will be applying early decision, and I have won a science award from the US Navy.
I’ll probably apply undecided, or in the liberal arts college.

Thank you all!

Solid match if ED. That is the best way to show interest.

My son accepted Class 2022 did EA 3.8 GPA unweighted. 1460 SAT. 29 ACT. 2 AP Junior year. 5 AP Senior year. He had Awards, Sports,Music,Volunteer, Clubs.

You are a competitive applicant. Your stats and ECs are good. With great essays you could get accepted to Northeastern, especially if you apply ED

Heads up, Northeastern has no “liberal arts college”.

Well, not strictly but they do have a college of social sciences and humanities, which they also refer to as a liberal arts college.

I got in RD with stats almost identical to yours. 32 ACT, 3.7 UW/4.2 W, 7 APs. I haven’t received any awards, but I think I had some unique ECs and good recommendations. I specifically took difficult classes at my school too. If you’re planning ED, I think you have a good shot!

The GPA is a bit low. I logged your stats into Prepscholar. Your chance is 14.47%. It’s not too terribly bad considering that the acceptance rate is 28% with the average GPA of 4.0. I would say you have nothing to lose by applying
