White female interested in engineering

Thanks!!!!!

I’d say you have a pretty good shot if you go ED, it’s supposed to help at NU.

Thanks username! I’m mainly worried about the GPA…do you think they’d overlook it if I apply ED/show lots of interest?

I talked to someone at NU (came to my school) and said ED gives a good advantage. Your UW GPA is low, but you have a great ACT and pretty good W along with some ECs so I say you have a solid chance.

Hahaha “some” ECs? Do you think they’re at all impressive?

Will I get killed in RD?

I wouldn’t say killed. Obviously your GPA is the weak part, but still solid. Your ACT is great though. I’d if you apply ED you are in, if not 50/50 chance.

raza, what are my chances RD?

Good essay with RD will get you in. I had a 3.71 UW.

^ When did you apply? Like how long ago?

You have no SATII’s? Did u take the SAT? But anyway you are solid for ED, iffy for RD.

ED - you’re in, probably. I’d be surprised if you weren’t.

SAT IIs… Do you have them?

I’m taking Math II, Physics, & Chem in Oct…gonna get all 800s.

I did take the SAT…we’re gonna pretend that never happened.

andrewsun1994:

Define “iffy”

iffy means ur probably in but not a guarantee

Haha, I say the same thing about my SAT scores- never happened

I applied…last year. I’m an incoming freshman. McCormick is slightly easier as well.

McCormick is slightly easier to get in than the others??

Just kidding, mixed that up with Pratt/Trinity at Duke. Disregard.
