I'd greatly appreciate some feedback concerning my chances!

Your SAT is a little bit low particularly for the CR. Hopefully you can get 33+ in ACT that may give you a better chance for ED.

NWU Medill: Reach

Is U Missouri too expensive for you?

Why do you think it’s a reach?

And no, U Missouri is not

@redhuntinghat I’m asking about ED

I’d say it is a reach for regular admissions, and a low reach for ED. It is working in your favor that you are Hispanic, and you have great grades in rigorous classes. You seem to have dedicated E.C.'s, and clearly being editor of a school newspaper helps for a journalism school. Your SAT does no favors, but won’t be an impediment. Since you are taking the ACT, try for a 34, which would make admissions very likely.

Chance me back?

NU: high match/low reach depending on how you present your ECs and how good your essays are. that SAT might hurt your chances a little though
