Chances for Not the Usually" CCer

I know im not the average CCer with a 4.0 and 2300, but i would really like your opinions on some of my colleges.

My number one school is Lehigh, the Business and Economics College. I am planning to major in Business Economics

GPA: 3.45
Rank: No rankings, but probably top 10-15%
SAT: 2020 (Took again in Oct, needed to work on cr)
SAT IIs: Math II 710, USH 590 (Thought i would do well)
AP Classes: USH (3); Senior year Calc AB, Env. Science, Psych
All other classes honors
EC: Many clubs and volunteer work in and out of school
Leadership position in FBLA, Summer Camp Counselor for both church (Very active in Church, maybe plus for GTown) and local middle school
Work: Worked as landscape assistant from 9-10 (Summer)
Assistant for Environmental Co. 11 grade (Worked directly with many executives and learned first hand what business really is)

White Male from NJ, very business oriented and ambitious, from successful business family

Colleges:
Lehigh (Top Choice, #1)
WUSTL (Top Choice)
Villanova
Bentley
Georgetown
Cornell AEM
Babson
GW
BC
Emory
NYU

I know I don't have the highest GPA or stats for a couple of the schools, but i just would like some feedback especially on Lehigh. I am almost positive that i am applying ED, but would like you to chance me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You

although you have good stats lehigh is trying to diversify their class and look for people other than there 75% east coast students (i think i read that in their paper) You would have better chance at WUSTL for applying ED and it is a better school overall especially if you can afford it as you are from a successful business family.

Is your GPA weighted or unweighted?

Thank you very much guys. MY GPA is weighted, i know it is very low. (Junior year wasnt to good)

I would really love to go to WUSTL, but i always thought that i would never get in, so i thought Lehigh was a more reasonable choice. Any other thoughts

Also i will not be applying for FA, and admission money is not a problem

thanks again and GL everyone

To be honest, if your GPA is 3.45 unweighted, I don't see you getting into any of them.

My school must be different cause its on a 4 point scale and no one has higher then 4, i am also in the top 10-15 percent of my class. Maybe it is unweighted idk. I have only taken AP/honors classes and done well. My GC recommended all of the schools and said that i could probably get into most of them, hes a graduate of Lehigh and Cornell. Im sorry but it most be uw after thinking about it. My bad, thanks for the help

Also im practically certain appyling ED to Lehigh, i dont feel that i can get into anything better. I love the school, its close, and its DI. I really dont want to go to St louis, its in middle of no where plus i dont really like the campus. I just really liked its programs and that it was a higher rank then Lehigh. I think i can get into and fit in much better at lehigh, thanks everyone

GPA doesn't matter if you are in the top 10-15% of your class--assuming a decent class size and assuming that you are not homeschooled.
What is the section-by-section scores of your SAT I?

Yea my school has about 550 ppl, also i saw my GC today and he told me that it was my uw GPA, and my GPA is somewhere around 3.7-3.8

Math-690 (Probably got 700+ on oct)
Writing-710
CR-620 (I needed to work on but i think i did very well on Oct tests, probably 660-700)
