Chances for Notre Dame?

Hi everyone! I was just wondering what my chances were for Notre Dame RD. I am a junior right now, so any recommendations I what I can do for the remainder of this year and next to better my chances would be appreciated! Here are my stats:

Essays: very happy with my common app, still working on my supplements

I want to study mathematics and/or political science.

Why have you written your essays already? The supplements change every year. Same question for your rec letters, don’t think they should already be done considering you have a full year before you apply.

In regards to your stats, they are a little low, but you have plenty of time to bring it up. Particularly your UW GPA, I would try to get closer to a 4.0 (this will help your class rank as well). You should also work on bringing your math score up.

@originalposter1 I just copied someone else’s layout and put in my own info! I must have forgotten to take those portions out, my mistake. I haven’t written any essays or pursued any recommendations. Sorry for any confusion!

That makes more sense. Keep up the good work! You have plenty of time to bring up your ACT composite, so that’s what I would focus on. Also maybe try to get more involved/more leadership in your ECs since you only have a few

Agree, right now your ACT is at the 25% mark for ND so I’d work to bring that up.

act is definitely a little low, but I’d say grades are in a good spot if you’re close to top 5%. Definitely strive to improve them, but it’s in good shape. ACT can definitely go up, I’d focus on math and science with a Barrons or Princeton review book(roughly 25$ per, definitely cheaper than a tutor) and you should see decent results.
