You will get in. Apply EA if you don't want to wait past December. You will probably also be offered a spot in the honors program.

Congrats on your outstanding high school performance.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I was hoping more people could give me their input. Also I was wondering if Nova could be considdered a "safety" for me?

I don't think it can be considered a safety but I would definatly say good match.

However, I only say this because I personally don't think any thing over a state school should ever be considered a safety.

True. I think very few high ranking schools like nova can be considered a guarentee for anybody, but either way it seems like a good match for me. We'll hope the whole process goes well.

ALSO. I POSTED THE SAME EXACT THREAD ABOUT GEORGETOWN AND UVA. MAYBE YOU GUYS COULD HELP ME OUT ON THOSE SCHOOLS AS WELL.

thanks,

Mike

UVA OOS(out of state) is a reach.

Georgetown is a slight reach/match.

Our Val was rejected UVA OOS with a 4.0 UW 1440 SAT and I assume all 700+ SAT II's. Also was a double varsity athelete.

For both schools you will be a competitive applicant but you can never really tell what will happen.

I hear ya. They are two real toughies. I should add with UVA though my mom recieved her Ph.D there, and has donated small amounts of money to the school for the past 15+ years. So does this help a lot. People have told me that at UVA OOS+Legacy is similar to in state.
