<p>Hey! So I'm applying Early Decision 1. My stats:
ACT composite: 35 (took it twice, got same score)
GPA(w): 3.91
GPA(uw): 3.59 (yeah, yeah.)
EC's:
-I am director and teacher of a bilingual volunteer program called Dancer to Dancer dedicated to providing free dance class to kids
-I was director of programming and a counselor for a summer camp program for underprivileged kids
-School musicals, featured dancer
-Dance concerts
-Work (at restaurant and boutique store)
-I am a professional recording artist
-Nordstrom Fashion BP Board Intern
-Senior Center volunteer </p>

<p>*The assistant principle of my school is writing my rec letter if that helps
*My grades show an upward trend
*I'm applying to Steinhardt's program: Media, Culture and Communications
*I will happily go to LSP if I get LSP'd</p>

<p>The gpa is a little on the low side, but your ACT is way above average, so I think it makes up for your GPA a little. I’d say you’re a match.</p>

<p>I thought the average GPA for NYU was 3.6 and we don’t know if that is weighted or unweighted. Seems to me that dorkfornewyork has a GPA that is right at average, not a little on the low side.</p>
