<p>-I am a junior</p>
<p>-I have a 3.8 GPA (weighted) and a 3.7 GPA (unweighted)</p>
<p>-I have taken 5 AP classes so far, I will have taken 8-9 by graduation</p>
<p>-On the AP two exams I have taken, I scored a 4 on both*</p>
<p>-I scored a 31 on the ACT and have not taken the SAT yet</p>
<p>-I am a member of NHS and Key Club, which is a community service club</p>
<p>-I am a member of my school's Newspaper staff, which is ranked #1 in Michigan</p>
<p>-I believe I am in the top 10% of my class</p>
<p>-I can speak near fluent French</p>
<p>With NYU, the school you’re applying to really makes a difference in your chances. Stern is much more competitive than some other schools, for example.</p>
<p>You’re a competitive candidate for NYU. I write because I wonder why the fasciniation with so many AP courses?</p>

<p>^ No. It’s just not typical for students to take as many as you will have taken.</p>
<p>NYU is a match/ high match depending on which school you apply to.</p>
