Your SAT Writing score definitely could be better, but thankfully, that’s the section colleges place the least weight on. I think your chances are quite good if you do well on your subject tests!

Carnegie Mellon University- Tepper: High match

Sorry, I’m not familiar enough with your other schools to comment.
You asked me to chance you… heh, well you’re like a better, more streamlined version of me. And I got waitlisted. I think you’ll get accepted. Good luck.
@Baloney1011 Thanks lol But in what way am i better? We are kinda similar other than the fact that your test scores were significantly higher. Haha thanks anyway
Well your unweighted GPA is substantially higher (3.8 vs my 3.62) and your EC’s are more numerous. That’s just why I thought you were a bit better. Most importantly it looks like you have good junior grades, whereas I had a strong downward trend (A’s freshman, A’s sophomore, B’s junior and senior) which I think hurt me the most.
I’d say take the SAT one more time so you have a good overall score and you have the benefit of superscoring. ECs show consistency and devotion which is good. I honestly don’t know how hard stern is but you have a solid profile
Stern is a high match.
I think most of all course rigor is an issue. Your ECs are good, but you should lean towards business related things. Also try and get 750+ in SAT Math. Stern is a LOT more competitive than you think because it’ completely different from NYU as a whole and I really don’t want to be the guy to tell you “Sure apply and get rejected”. However, it helps that you need no financial aid.
NYU Stern-Low reach
Carnegie Mellon University- Tepper-Low reach
USC -Marshall-Low reach
Ucla-Match if instate, High match if not
Uva (sibling attends)-Match if instate, Low Reach if not

University of Michigan- Ross-High reach(Ross as an undergraduate is very very difficult. Apparently has ivy league standards)
Cornell-Reach(Low reach for ED and show a lot of interest)
PS-What do you do at the SAT Review club?
@alpha525 I got an 800 on math 2 if that helps. I am making up for my lack of course rigor by completing college courses at my local CC. I took 1 during my junior year, and now 1 over the summer (They were Calc 1 and Calc 2) I hope that makes up for it. At the SAT review club, we just reviewed and did tricky questions together before school.
I will chance you back.
