Things unsure of helping resume:
-Parents own two large companies in the city I reside in. I am activity involved in helping with both sides of operations. (customer service, book keeping, marketing, etc.)
-In the 2008-2010, I was the only Scholastic News Reporter (Kid Reporter/Volunteer) in my regional area of US. I was heavily involved with 2008 election-interviewed many candidates Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama, Joe Biden, and many more etc. Wrote many articles/stories for the magazine to inform other kids around the world.
-In elementary school- had a citizen ship award started after me. (also was involved student council 3rd-5th)
-Middle School NJHS President and Treasurer - planned leadership conferences/group trips/activities.

Please help me by letting me know what I should improve on, anything I should add, if ED is smart or not, essays, etc.?
NYU Stern is my top school.
Thanks for the help and advice.

P.S. State is Nevada.

You attend the top school in the state and your SATs are 600/600/600?? And you are taking college classes now? Sounds like you need to increase your SAT scores.

Why NYU Stern?

Since you are in a very competitive school and have diverse and countless EC’s, try increasing your SAT to 2000+
I suggest applying ED since you are OOS and your SAT. Since you are planning to retake it, I wouldn’t worry so much (: Good luck,

Chance me and my friend back?

Thanks, that is what I figured. I will just have to study hard!

Retake the SAT for at least a 2100, or take the ACT. If you can get those scores up, I don’t think you need to apply early! Good luck and chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1673832-will-chance-back-chance-me-for-cmc-barnard-bryn-mawr-columbia-stanford-cornell-umich-stern.html#latest
