Also, can you guys suggest some low reach or mid reach colleges I could throw out?
What is your intended major? The NMSF cut off for Michigan is around 210, so you are likely just commended. Your ACT is much better than your SAT score, while your GPA is below the admission average of UMich (3.85). GPA is most important for UMich and that may hurt your chance even from in state particularly for CoE. Before you put more OOS public colleges on the list, make sure they are affordable. You are expected to pay ~$50k or more per year. It would be hard to suggest schools without knowing your intended major and budget for school. Besides the CommonApp main essay, you need to work on the other essays too. It is indeed crucial for many schools including UMich.
I’m undecided in terms of major
You don’t have to decide your major, but we need to know at least if you are going to engineering or not, for instance. But if you are looking at UChicago, you are not likely looking at engineering anyway. The chance for CoE or LSA at UMich differs. Anyway, UMich CoE would be a low reach for you from in state while LSA would be a high match to match. If GPA 3.76 is within the top 10% of your class, your school is super tough.
Not considering engineering
