Chances for NYU with a 3.4 cummulative GPA?

I have a 3.4 cummulative GPA, what do you guys think?

Really can’t say. The GPA neither dominates nor depreciate your application, not for NYU! If you show strong extra-curricular commitment or got good scores on your standardized tests, your grades might become less prominent in the picture. Don’t lose hope, you might get in! But really, this isn’t a good or complete question. Best of luck!

Try their liberal studies program if you’re not sure that you’ll get into the other program. It’s a softer start and may take lower grades http://www.liberalstudies.nyu.edu/page/home

Also before you get your heart set on NYU, make sure that you are prepared for a big bill. People have reported that their online cost calculator isn’t very accurate and their financial aid isn’t so terrific either. Just be prepared for that.
