Chances for NYU

<p>I know I only have to wait a few more days for my ED decision, but I still want to see what you guys think. It'll put me at ease knowing what you guys think. (I'm applying to CAS)</p>

Recommendations: Excellent; one of them was written by my teacher who received his ungrad, grad, and phd at Columbia (economics teacher)
Essay: My english teacher told me it was among the best he's ever read
ECs: Editor-in-Chief of newspaper club; two years of tutoring; Federal Reserve Challenge (economics competition team, basically); Quiz bowl; National Honors Society; Peer Leadership; 100+ hours of community service
Honors: Brown University Book Award</p>

<p>I have a tremendous interest in english, economics and journalism, as I stated heavily in my application. Will the fact that my ECs reflect my interests help at all? Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>You're good to go, although the math SAT score and GPA are on the low end. But your other SAT scores and whatnot make up for it.</p>
