i was actually hoping financial aid and scholarship could help me out with the tuition…
and either i will study medicine or education
still got any chances? lol

Sorry, but your stats are no where near high enough for merit scholarships at NYU. NYU states on their website that their scholarships go to the top 5% of applicants…those are going to be students whose stats are in the 99th percentile. Your scores are in the 72nd percentile. It’s very

Obviously, if you’re asking about “chances” for admission, you know that your stats are lowish for the school - so not going to get a scholarship ( You do understand that scholarships are a reward for high stats, right???)

Your SAT scores would have to be into the 700’s for each section to get a scholarship. It’s unlikely that you could raise your scores by that much.

As for financial aid…NYU doesn’t give much AT ALL. They are the poster child for LOUSY aid. If you apply, you’re going to be one of these bewildered kids we see every spring who was given a ridiculous aid package from NYU. NYU is so outrageous that they’ll suggest that a low-income single mom take out huge loans for her child’s education.

And…because of you’re considering med school or education, neither is a career where a student should borrow much for undergrad.

How much will your parents pay each year?

What state are you from.

Where else are you going to apply to?
