Chances for Ohio State???

<p>Hi I am a junior at an all girls college prep high school and want to know what my chances are to be admitted to main campus at Ohio State and also chances for grants and scholarships (: thanks! (I plan on doing early application) and I plan on trying out for the club team for soccer there!</p>

<p>It sounds like you are an Ohio resident. If that’s the case, your class rank will matter a great deal. Your ACT score is on the low side…I’d advise to retake and shoot for at least a 2-3 point bump. I’m not sure on the ACT score required for scholarships, but if you raise it, your chance for admission is good.</p>

<p>Ohio State is actually not generous with scholarship money. Probably because it is far and away the most popular school in the state. You might want to check out their scholarship website below:

<p>Apparently, with an ACT of 27, you would only get $1,000 per year (yes, one thousand dollars). Not clear whether that is even guaranteed.</p>

<p>At Miami University in Oxford, an ACT of 27 plus GPA above 3.7 appears to guarantee at least $2,000 per year and perhaps as much as $6,000.
