I am just applying now to UW as I decided to apply late. Will this hurt my chances of getting in out of state? Also here are my stats:

Rest of classes are honors, many science courses

Very good recommendations
Decent essays

Applying for Chemical engineering

Thank you

Applying by the second notification deadline doesn’t hurt your chances at all. As for how you’d fare among the other applicants, you look like a very well-rounded applicant to me. I’m not a very credible source though, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Just apply and good luck! Hope to see you as a badger next year!

Major does not matter at this point. You have a good chance. Good luck.
