I am from NY, a good solid above average student, calc, physics, french v and some other good classes, plenty of outside and school activites, major community service, etc........my sat's are in their range, etc..........BUT I am from NY. What is the edge that might give you the chance for acceptance? I know I am qualified but am nervous about the low rate of out of staters. If you know, PLEASE awnser! Thank you!

I don't really know what you are asking for. By being out of state, you have no edge that might boost your chances. Oh yeah, post your stat; it's impossible to give you chances without solid numbers.
