<p>Can someone please evaluate my chances regular decision for both UPenn and Dartmouth? Thank you.</p>

<p>SAT I: 1400 (750 math, 650 verbal) (Re-taking November, hoping for 1450+)
SAT II: Math2c 780, Writing 760… Spanish (took in October, 750+)
Rank: 4 of 225
GPA: Weighted- 4.57, Unweighted- 3.80
Most rigorous courseload possible
AP's Junior Year: U.S. History, English Language, Computer Science (4's on all of them)
AP's Senior Year: Calc BC, Biology, Statistics, English Literature, Spanish</p>

<p>You seem pretty solid, but also pretty ordinary. They might have 50 people just like you. I think you probably have a good shot at both (Penn more so than Dartmouth), but you really need to set yourself apart. From your EC's and SAT's and even your courses, it's all kind of generic. And there are some competitive people coming out of Jersey, too. In your case, it's not a matter of content, but a matter of packaging. I'd say, write an essay that really lets them know what your passions are, and find one major thing about you, and push it. Otherwise, you're the type to get lost in the shuffle.</p>
