Chances for Penn, Columbia, Stanford, Harvard

Hey guys,

So I'm a Junior at a top-10 liberal arts college. By the time I graduate, I will probably have between a 3.86 and 3.88 GPA. Based on practice tests, I will definitely be able to score a 175+ on the LSAT (and for the purposes of this post, just assume i do score above that)

I am doing an investment banking internship in a Bulge Bracket investment bank this summer in the M&A group, but am ultimately looking down the road to law school. However, I plan on turning this internship into a two year full-time analyst position and then apply to law school after my two years of work experience.

You may ask why go to law school after investment banking? I know ultimately that I would love to do law and work in corporate law in some fashion, and finance provides a good foundation to learn the industry basics while making a lot of money to help pay for law school.

What do you think my chances are for these top schools with my GPA, potential LSAT, and investment banking work experience. From what I've heard, not many bankers apply to law school, so hopefully this will help me stand out.

And btw, I'm a white male.

For purposes of this post, just assume that you have already been admitted to those law schools.

They will have a much more active law school community than CC, which is mostly popular with undergrad students and their parents.
