Please evaluate my chances.

darn, which program u applying to? i am canadian too, but i live in canada

Great chance, but your screen name tells a different story; is it all about "Ivy league," or do you really want to go to Penn? Pieces of eight, or one specific school that you've researched and want?
Adcoms are like Sherlock Holmes when it comes to the loyalty-check.

I want to go to Penn, but I figured that I can get into an even better school, like HYP.

lol, that sounds rather presumptuous

Do they actually check what other Ivies one applies to?

They can't legally.

There was a big discussion on the HYP boards whether or not Ivies "talk" to each other. I asked my GC, who was an adcom at Cornell, and he said they don't. They used to at one time, primarily to compare financial aid packages, not for admissions purposes. Now it's totally illegal. They DO share ED admit lists, though, for obvious reasons.

i really hate it when people dismiss penn by saying "HYP is better" and i can get into a better school than penn. cause penn is an incredible school, and HYP are by no means irrefutably superior, there's a totally different feel to them. people at harvard tend to suck (do u know anyone chill that goes to harvard? cause i def dont) princeton kids are sort of insane (my friend goes there and she doesnt sleep...) and as for yale... i cant imagine why anyone would want to be in new haven for 4 years. i spent a weekend at yale and realized i would kill myself out of boredom if i ever went there. whereas penn is known for its sick parties and philly is def a place u come to appreciate, at least for the friendly/bohemian vibes that are sort of lacking in some other east coast cities...

I'm like you in that I'm a canadian (je viens de Quebec aussi) living in the US and I speak 3 languages.

I don't have nearly as many APs as you do though. 12-wow!
"Won a national recognition for a French competition" I got the same, but that was in like 8th grade wasn't it?

not really, it's rather in 10th grade. But I took a look at your stats, they are real good! U penn ED?
