I dont understand your scores exactly, but it seems like your quantitative %ile may be too low for Exeter. Where else did you apply?

To clarify, I got 92 percentage in Quantitative, 97 in Verbal, and 85 in Reading, and I only applied to Exeter.

Did you only apply take Exeter? If you are set on going to boarding school you should really cast a wider net.

I read it as a 69Q, 62R. Your scores are fine then, meaning they won’t keep you out. But as @cababe97 says above, only applying to one school is risky. Even with perfect scores, grades & ECs it’s difficult to get in to Exeter (or any of the other top boring schools that are just as good as Exeter).

hey exeter 0324! Unfortunately, I do not think your application is as strong as it should be especially for Exeter. Your SSAT score is not too great and your grades are not spectacular(assuming your transcript shows the 76 in PE). However, don’t let your hopes down, everything in the power of Jesus is possible:)

i applied for exeter (10th grade) and got waitlisted last year. you seem about my level, but i dont know if ur essays or interview was good so i cant make a good guess. however, i would chance you at around 20% acceptance, 50% waitlist, 30% denial. best of luck!

ps can you chance me back, im applying for andover this year.

There’s nothing to keep you out, and boys with interest in dance and visual arts can round out a class. You’ll have to wait a little longer to see what happens. It could go either way.

@exeter0234 “SSAT score: 2190, 91 percent, 84 percentile
94 V, 69 Q, 62 R” I am a little unclear what this means. Did you get a 91 or an 84 overall?

My score was 2190/2400, which is 91 percentage, but compared to other students I was in the 84th percentile.
