thanks in advance!

Well, as a HS senior and Pomona hopeful myself, I'm not sure how well qualified I am to chance you, but I'll give it a try.

Generally GPA seems a BIT low for Pomona (I'm obviously assuming its unweighted, otherwise you're in trouble), ACT/SAT is about right although obviously your ACT scores look better. You have good ECs, but then again, good ECs are to be expected, you know, so that's another average, unfortunately. I would say that a lot depends on your personal statements and how you came across in the interview, as Pomona seems to care a lot more about WHO you are. Also, there's SOME advantage to applying ED.

But at the end of the day, Pomona only accepted 15% of applicants last year, so it's a gamble. Good luck, and hopefully by this time next year we'll both be sagehens!

Thanks for the comments Kellmill, I agree with most everything you said.

I think the GPA issue will be cleared up because the GPA is significantly lower because of that 3.33, and the admissions officer should notice I never fell that low again... hopefully.

Good luck to you as well, sir.
