<p>What are my chances at Princeton, Duke , and Carnegie Mellon</p>

<p>Im planning on Chemical Engineering as my Major</p>

<p>SAT's 1530, verbal 800, math 730
SATII's 710 History, 750 Chem, 790 Math IIC, and a dismal 680 writing
White female
public school ranked 1/400 or around 400
4.0 GPA (school does not weigh)
AP US - 4, AP Chem 4, AP Calc BC 5, currently inAP Bio and AP Lit, only have 4 credits this year because i have a half day internship at the National Cancer Institute, all other classes I have taken have been honors</p>

<p>Extracurricular:
Student Government
National Honor Society
Spanish Club
Junior Engineering Technical Society
Ballet 5 times a week major commitment biggest of my EC
Performed with in various ballets w/ MD regional ballet</p>

Counselors Assistant - Camp Louise</p>

National Merit Semifinalist (applied for finalist status)

<p>you have a shoot at princeton, although you are not super-strong like some others do.
the other two, i will say you have a 90% chance to get in. good luck.</p>

<p>...90% chance at duke? i don't think many people can honestly believe they have 90% chance at duke....although they accept 20-25%, they're still REALLY REALLY selective. but u are definately more competitive than most.</p>

Princeton - Slight Reach/Reach
Duke - Slight Reach/Match
Carnegie Mellon - Safe Match</p>

<p>thanx, ill be happy if i get into duke or pton, more happy w/ pton but i know theres less chance there, id rather not go anywhere else i fit canbe avoided, lol</p>
