*Hi, i'm new to CC, so I apologize if i've posted this in the wrong place!

So that's all I can say for now... I know it's hard to chance someone based on little more than pure stats, but i'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks!!

I’d say Princeton is an unrealistic reach with your scores and ECs.

I disagree test scores dont count you out (i recommend retaking the sat to improve critical reading) and ive heard the scholastic awards are a pretty good award, especially gold
Key. So not a great chance but a decent chance imo.

Thanks to you both for your input- I forgot to add that I also got a silver medal for one of the key works.

Your ECs are very very club joinerish, meaning you decided to join every club on campus. Yea, you have a few leadership roles in there, but I don’t see a string of passion throughout them which is a negative.

That said, you did in fact post this in the wrong place. Furthermore, what can people who are not Princeton admissions officers accurately tell you about your chances to Princeton? Little to nothing. Chance threads are pointless. Don’t worry about your chances, good luck when you apply.

Thanks dfree124- While I just want a sense of whether my goals are completely unrealistic or not (and what I can do to improve them), what you’ve said is entirely true. Either way, i’ll definitely try to narrow my ECs down to stuff that i’m really interested in!

MODERATOR NOTE: Please post Chances threads on the What are my Chances? forum.
