your in for sure. Don't worry about it.

You have a good shot with your impressive math honors. You can kinda estimate your own chances by comparing yourself with some the of the students accepted since your school looks like a feeder school.

which school do you go to by the way? Boston latin?

As things stand now, your SAT scores are a bit weak for Princeton. On the other hand, your GPA is solid and your ECs and awards are strong. I'd say you're slightly better than an average applicant. Figure you have about a 15% chance. Get the SATs above 2300, and you probably have about a 20% chance.

Bottom line: Definitely apply to Princeton ED, but also research and be prepared to apply RD to other, less selective schools with strong math departments (Carnegie Mellon, for example, comes to mind).

"Fall 2006: Multivariate Calculus"

I'm not contributing anything worthwhile but there is a freshman FREAK taking that right now at Scarsdale High School.

Don't get cocky. A buddy of mine was a multiple MOSP-qualifier, took multivariate calc and differential questions by sophomore year, had 2350ish SATs and was a damn good writer to boot, but was rejected at Princeton and Harvard after blowing off his essays till the last minute (He'd already gotten into MIT EA so it wasn't that big a deal).

But yes, if you continue to work hard and present yourself as a human rather than a robot, you have an excellent chance.

Is it true that princeton only looks at your 10th and 11th grade GPA or will the consider your 9th grade grades as well?

Princeton computes the GPA based upon 10th and later grades and only looks at 9th grade if you are a borderline candidate.

wow, thanks for that bit of info... my freshman grades suck

Pretty good, based on your math awards. The rest of the stuff you have is pretty average for a Princeton applicant. Is there a reason you're not going for Harvard though, since a lot of people form your school go there?

Hmm pretty good? as in 40% +?
I don't really want to go harvard because... it's not as good in math... and going to harvard is too "typical asian" lol... unfair stereotype, i know. But from where I'm from Princeton sounds so mcuh cooler than Harvard!! Education is more important of course...

More chances please!

And alos, will my Novwember and Ocotber SAT/SATII scores be considered for princeton ED?
