Chances for: Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, CAL, UCLA and UCSD

I really want to apply as an EE but I no it's really competitive..
so after you look at this, would you tell me what kind of major I should apply uner? (some science major)

Schools I'm applying to are:
Princeton ED, Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, CAL, UCLA and UCSD
I live in California (for 4 years) but still don't have permanent residency nor citizenship, therefore I'm an international student.,,i guess..

I'm hoping that Cornell, UC berkeley (CAL) and UCLA are my matchs and UCSD is just very safety (if I only get in UCSD, I'm prrobably going to community college to transfer to CAL) and I'm hoping I have at least a little chances for Princeton ED, Harvard and Stanford

Here are my stats...
GPA: W:4.5 UW:3.91
SAT I: V:660 M:800 W:680 e:10
SAT II: MATH IIC:800, KOREAN:800, PHYSICS:700 (take again), and Spanish
TOEFL: Just took it today......expecting perfect score or somewhere around
AP tests: AP CALC BC-5 (AB sub: 5), APUSH -4, AP chem -3
Took all the possible AP& honors in our school except AP French
EC:
President & founder - Asian club for 3 years

Thanks!

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach (Engineering, out of state)
UCSD: Match (Engineering, out of state)

What about UIUC?

what if I apply under math or some kind of science and change majors once i get in?

Reach:
Princeton ED, Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, CAL, UCLA
Match:
UCSD
You're an international student, so it's very competitive to apply to US schools. Also, UC's like UCB and UCLA get so many applicants that they hardly choose any out of state applicants, let alone international.

What if I am on the process of applying for Green card (a.k.a permanent residence)? Also, I've lived in California for last 4 years and plan to graduate from American high school so I'm eligible for resident fees under AB540 a.k.a Dream Act. Therefore, i don't have to worry about financial issues. Does this make any difference?(the fact that I applied for Green card and the fact that I don't need fin aid from all the other schools except HARVARD, PRINCETON(who are need blinds))

Bump? plz I need more feedbacks

Hm, my college list is a lot like yours: <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=101809%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=101809</a></p>

Harvard, Stanford, Cal, UCLA, and UCSD.

I don't see P, H or S as realistic. Too many highly qualified Asians with stronger stats. Maybe Cornell. I would add some schools below the top 20 aqnd some with low Asian interest (schools in South and MW).

good luck.

are you chinese or korean??

I am Korean....Oh, I also watn to add that I am an AP Scholar with 1 of each 5,4,3 in calculus bc (ab-5 subscore), apush and chemistry, respectively. Also, (i dunno if this helps at all) I got a "tremendous improvment" award from Mock Trial as well as two time table topic winner for Toastmaster.
I'm currently taking: AP ENG, AP STAT, SPAN 4, AP SPAN, PHYSIOLOGY-H, AMER GOV/ECONOMICS

comments plz?

Princeton ED, Harvard, Stanford - reach
Cornell, CAL - slight reach
UCLA and UCSD - match

I'm also applying to Washington Unv in St. Louis, what'd be the chance for that school?

Ok, I don't really want to knock on the hometown school, but WashU isn't exactly the best when it comes to engineering IMO. There is better programs out there, when considering how hard it is to get in.

what other matching and saftety schools should I apply to???
(btw, I think in WashU, I might major business instead of engineering)

WashU -match.
you should find some safety colleges.

hm...i was looking for more of them suggestions...

if your major is business, you might consider some LACs.

I recommend Chicago and Michigan.
They are great universities.

ok more universities...
Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon and UPenn
how about these schools?
