Chances for Purdue Engineering?

Hello, I'd like to see how I stack up against other applicants applying to the college of Engineering at Purdue University and the possibility of the scholarships. Also feel free to chance at other schools that seem to be adequate. A rough estimate will do just fine, thank you for your time :)

Academics:
WGPA : 91/100 (school does not provide UW or a 4.0 scale conversion)
Rank : 5/50
SAT I : 2110 (R:540 M:800 (got two 800s in both SAT attempts) W:770) not superscored

APs:
Phys C Mech : 5
Phys C E&M : 5
Calc AB : 5
Biology : 3

Planning to take:
SAT I in October aiming for 2250-2300
SAT II : Bio, Phys, Math II in November (don't know if that might help)
AP Calc BC
AP Chemistry
AP Psych

I attend a top 5 school in the country
Hardest possible course rigor

Awards:
AP scholar with Honor
Honor Roll (since 8th grade)
Outstanding Achievements List (since 9th grade)

ECs:

Academic Prefect (every year)
SAT tutor (Maths and Writing only, 75+hrs)
Peer tutor (50+ hrs)
Head Delegate of Model UN school delegation + Position paper award
Maths Olympiad Team (1st place, teams of 3. At a local University)
Shadow teaching, mostly in Maths and Physics (grades 8,9,10,11. Taught standard course material in full sized classrooms)
Took part in pioneering the On-Demand tutoring over a worldwide school network (entire 11th grade year spent on that project, with a corporate level letter of appreciation ;). Only two of the entire 10/11th grade student body were selected)
1st place at a science fair including 20+ schools from 20 different countries.

Other :
US Dual citizen. Non resident, currently reside in Lebanon hence the lack of proper ECs :/
Father attended Purdue, so that's sort of a legacy and a big plus.
Handy with any tools due to many constructive projects (just thought I might add that)

That's pretty much it. Thank you for taking the time to read this fellow CC-er.
I would really like to know if i have a chance at the Presidential Scholarship, and if not then any advice would be much appreciated.

You got this in the bag. One of my friends had only a 4.05 weighted and a SAT score less than yours, but he is currently a freshman at Purdue’s Engineering program. Being a legacy only helps you out.

High match for oos.
Your SAT score over all is good, but your CR is really below average of admission average and probably out of the mid 50. Is vocab your problem? Perhaps you should consider taking ACT. Anyway, if Purdue is your top choice, then you are probably fine. Try to improve your GPA a little bit. I don’t think Purdue need subject test.

Thank you so much! Kind of relieved, but what would you say for scholarships?

For Purdue, you have to apply EA for merit scholarship. Your current scores does not look very good for major scholarship. If you can score your target of 2250-2300, you would be a better chance, however, it may be too late for EA. Anyway, you should give it a try.

What if I rush report my October SAT scores? Will it still be too late?

It would be right around the deadline on November 1. If everything go smoothly, you may be able to just make it. However, there are often unexpected delay. For merit scholarship, they also require the application to be completed (with all support materials) by the deadline. you probably want to call their admission office to see if there is any grace period. The problem is more for the scholarship than for admission as your current score is already in the ball park for admission. Since FAFSA submission is not due till March, they may consider late scores. You definitely should ask.

Just for anyone who’s wondering , I asked and they prefer that you submit October scores electronically and that everything they receive by Nov 1 will be considered for merit scholarships. So im thinking of sending in everything : transcripts and other whatnot in addition to the current SAT score i have and then when the Oct scores come out, ill just rush those in and they’ll update it automatically as they consider the highest of each section  seems ok right? Did i miss anything out?

I am not sure if you wait for the score to come out then do rush score or just get the free score submission directly would be faster. Probably you want to do both just in case.

Match I think

I think Purdue might be a safety, as it is relatively easy when compared to other prestigious universities. But I have no idea about scholarships.

Thanks Bounty123
