Well that’s it. Pathetic EC’s I know, focused more on having fun than on boosting my profile for college =P. Thanks for your time!

I honestly am not trying to show off. I don’t know too much about where I stand at various colleges and did not think that BC was a sure thing. I feel pretty confident about the UC’s but I’d heard that privates look a lot harder at EC’s. My only EC’s are really sports and not even varsity ones at that.

I’m glad that you think I’m in though, I just hope BC agrees…

i’m soooo jealous of your stats!! urs are def. better than mine!! congrats on a good sat and sat 2 scores especially!! (800 on reading??? wow!!) u def. have a very good chance on RD, but your ECs are a little disappointing… work hard on your essay and i’m sure you will be fine!! good luck!! what ucs are you interested in?? have you looked into berkeley and ucla?? i think you will get into those pretty easily, and they’re both really good schools!!

@luckycharms- Yes I know my EC’s are very disappointing =P. I never really thought about getting seriously involved in any clubs or things of that nature due to sports and, frankly, my laziness. Yea I definitely have looked into them, I’ve been a Cal Berkeley sports fan for my whole life as my dad went there and they are definitely a top choice as well! Getting into Berkeley, LA, or BC would be a dream come true! I’ll take a look at your thread as well, thanks for your input ^_^

wow. really. you are a shoe-in, seriously. with those credentials you could get into a few ivy leagues too. i have a 4.33 and a 2020 SAT and im considered competitive for BC. don’t even worry about getting into this school. unless you’ve convicted a felony or something.

also, your ECs are not pathetic. they’re perfect. if you ask any admissions representative, they will tell you that they like someone who focuses on just a few specific things and pursues those activities thoroughly. they can see through all the BS clubs and other activities that some kids put down.
