Tell me what you guys think. You can be brutally honest. I’ve already heard the worst from my guidance counselor; I don’t think anyone could outdo her.

GPA - 2.96 unweighted (low, i know.)
SAT I - 650 CR, 710 M, 700 W
SAT II - 680 Math I, 550 Lit

AP Classes: US Hist, Bio, Stat, MicroEcon, MacroEcon, English Lang/Lit, Euro Hist

Extracurricular activities: FBLA, Varsity Speech & Debate Club President, Community Service Board

Hmm....
The test scores are above average
The GPA is low, BUT you are in some hard classes, harder than the average applicant. That may very well make up for the low GPA. Or it could not.
Decision: 50/50 Split

That's what a lot of people are saying. Also, while my GPA is relatively low, I'm still in the top quarter of my class because of the number of AP and honors courses I take.

... i really don't know... your GPA is kinda low.. but your SATs are high... but i think your in luck... AU i believe cares more about SAT then GPA... (at least thats whta i believe.... from what my friends have told me...) one of my friends from college.. one of his friends got REJECTED from AU with these kinds of stats:
1030 SAT
3.9 GPA

so yeah.... but yet again thats only one case.... idk... i'm not an admissions director... i'm just a student... and yeah... in the end it doesn't matter what I say anyway... you've done all u can... now you've just gotta wait it out... good luck

Chances?
