Chances for RD please

sorry for posting all these stats but im stressed out about my application to BC bc i was planning on applying EA to BC but wound up switching my application to RD because I didnt think that my essay was ready then … does anyone have ideas of how much that will hurt my application … my GC says it shouldnt matter but i think it does? also, i was hoping that people could let me know what they think my chances might be, my school sends a lot of people to BC but even people who i thought were qualified have been rejected.

my SATs are CR-770, M-720 W-730 Lit-690 Math II-660 History-770

–also another question, i wound up taking Math I on the day of Math II because i thought I did horribly on Math II and wound up getting a 610 on math I, even lower than my Math II! I hope they dont look at that too hard and it doesnt hurt me too much?

my GPA is a 3.9 weighted, i have taken a very rigorous courseload with almost all honors and will have taken 6 AP’s (Bio I, Bio II, Calc AB, Euro, Lit and US History) … i i am in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor

my rec’s should be very good and my essays seem strong

EC’s: member of a nationally ranked crew team(9-11), community service core homeroom rep(9-11) and officer(12), Pennsylvania Math League(9-12), S.A.D.D., organized a drive for hurricane katrina school for school supplies and lunch money, and attended a leadership camp this summer at Cornell U.

please if you could just let me know what you think about the whole switching my application and about the Math I and if they may really hurt my chances. thanks!

You're basically me with better SAT scores and GPA.

MY SAT IIs are bad too. My math II is 650, U.S. History is 640, and World History is 660. Thankfully, I have 800 in Japanese (I'm Korean) to make up for those mediocore scores.

I think you have a very good chance.

i agree! great sat score and courseload
