I don't know how you could not get in with those stats.

Best of luck to you.

thanks a lot, good luck to you too in your search.

I agree with icebarracuda, your ECs look good and your stats are all comparable to or better than mine and I got in. Good luck!

thanks a lot

I think you're in. I have similar numbers, and I got in EA as a Notre Dame Scholar. Is Notre Dame your first choice?

no its not

but it is one of my top choices, just not THE first

Your statistics are really impressive. I can't imagine how you won't be admitted.

Do you mind me asking -where else did you apply?

i applied to northwestern, uchicago, upenn, duke, yale, washu, umich, uva, brown, cornell

Even though your stats are awesome, you should probably apply to one safety (assuming you haven't already gotten in somewhere and are not instate at uva or umich). One parent on CC last year had a son with awesome credentials and numbers who didn't get in anywhere he applied. I would be shocked if that happened to you, though.

oh... what happened to him?

I think he took a gap year and reapplied.

I have really similiar stats (2260, 35 on the ACT, 4.0, 14 APs) and ECs.

And I applied to most of the same schools.
I applied to northwestern, upenn, duke, washu, brown, ND, OSU, Miami, and Vandy.

What's your first choice?
Mine is Penn, followed by Duke and ND in a tie for second. Good luck

umm yeah my advice would be to ignore the previous poster. If thei above two posts are supposed to be funny, well then my response is that your sense of humor needs work.

hahahaha carl whats up guy....

hey bing, that was just one of my friends jokin around dude, dont worry about it too much. honestly though i think you are a lock at ND. I was accepted early with half your stats: My SAT was a 2200, i only took 3 SAT II's which were a friggin 630,650,and 700, and my gpa is just about what yours is. Your number of ec's, APs, and SAT IIs all outweigh what I had. And you are in the top 1% of your class. Honestly if you come from a decent school and wrote a solid essay, because they do stress that, then you are a lock. on many ND websites people have said 1500 or above on SAT almost guarantees admission. good luck on being a domer next year, although it looks like you will be going ivy.

I think we need to clarify something here---

nemo's response was directed at Patriot (whose earlier posts were erased), and not at OSU or emswim...

very good point...thanks for pointing that out...

No problem...just doing what mama's do best...

so -- nemo--are you presently attending ND? Sorry if you have posted this before, and I didn't catch it --- I mostly cruise the USNA site...
