Clear admit?

thanks a bunch

yeah...more like a safety!!

Although Michigan is never a complete safety, I would say your chances of getting in, especially if you apply in late August or September, are excellent.

does WHEN you apply (for RD) actually matter?

lol umich was a safety to one girl in my school. top 5 public school in NJ, 2400 sat, good ec's, and 4.0 uw. No ranking in our school. She got in like August/September.

yes, UM is rolling admissions, there is no ED, the earlier you apply, the earlier you are likley to hear (especially with your credentials) - apply before Nov. 1 for scholarship conmsideration

spikemom, thanks for that piece of advice. just wondering, whats it like with other schools' admission timing?

Most schools of Michigan's stature do not respond until April 1st...unless you apply ED/EA. That's the beauty of applying to Michigan. If you apply in late August, you hear back by late September...and in your case, it would most likely be an acceptance.

ah, i see. thanks.
