<p>Hi, I want to know how my chances are for rice, cmu, uchicago, upenn,etc... Also I was wondering if I should apply to yale, princeton, MIT, stanford, etc...or would I be wasting my time?</p>
<p>Location: northeast
gpa: 99.7 out of 105 (weighted)
- very low 9th and 10 grades: 98-99 gpa
- 11th grade gpa: 103.5...very very high ap calc bc and ap physics grades
- 12th grade is also up there like 11th
- taking the hardest possible classes in my school. (which is a lot)
- school doesn't rank</p>
<p>SAT: 740 math (2 wrong :/ (silly mistakes)), 700 writing, ...610 reading :/
- just took it again in october, supersupersuperextremely sure i got an 800 math. expecting low 700s in writing, and 630-650 in reading. </p>
<p>ACT: 32 composite, 35 math, 35 science, 32 english,......25 reading :/ I HATE READING!!
- ^didn't study for this...retaking on october 23rd probably</p>
<p>APs- Physics B: 5, Calculus BC: 5 and AB subscore, US history: 4, World history: 3, English Language: 3</p>
<p>Teacher Recs: Both will be great. </p>

-leading runner of the team, will probably get all-county this year (one of the toughest counties in the state)

-11th grade: Siemens Regional Finalist: team project in chemistry and physics (spent some weeks at Rice University)
-12th grade: spent summer working on condensed matter physics research</p>
<p>Might be stuff i forgot to include in here^ and that i don't want to mention. This is just a general overview. I really want to apply ED to Rice because i loved spending the summer there and it is my top choice (other than ivies). Do i have a good shot? Also i was thinking EA to Uchicago. here is a list of colleges that come to the top of my mind:

what about the schools i mentioned before? Are they too much of a reach?</p>
