Chances for Rice University?

<p>Hi, </p>

<p>I'm currently a junior in high school and wondering what my chances are for Rice University. </p>

<p>Academics:
GPA: 101.095 (Weighted) --My school didn't have it on a 4.0 scale, but I think that's equivalent to a 4.0? Not sure. (I've had all A's throughout my HS career so far).
Rank: 11/450 (Top 3%)
SAT Scores: 2040 (Math: 720 Reading: 670 Writing: 650) -- I am retaking it in May.
ACT Scores: N/A
SAT Subject Tests: Will be taking Math II and Chemistry in June (Projected scores: Math II- 770 and Chemistry 700-750)
AP Tests:
10th Grade- APUSH -5
11th Grade- APChem -? APBio -? APEnglishLang. -? (Projected 5/4/5 respectively)
12th Grade- APCalcAB -? APEnglishLit. -? APMicro/Macroeconomics -? APSpanishLang. -?
IB Tests:
11th Grade- Chemistry SL -? (Projected 6~7)
12th Grade- Math SL -? Spanish SL -? 20th Century World Topics HL -? English IV HL -? Biology HL -?
*My teacher says that Rice loves/likes IB Diploma students can anyone confirm this?</p>

<p>Overall I don't think my chances are that high, what do you guys think? And if you have any suggestions on improving my stats, I'd greatly appreciate it.</p>

<p>Just as a piece of advice: Take the ACT. You won’t regret it. I felt pretty good about the SAT, but ended up doing better on the ACT. </p>

<p>If you can get your test scores up I think you’ll be set. Rice isn’t nearly as selective as some (unless you’re applying for music, but that’s another story).</p>
