<p>So I have already been admitted into my safety and my first choice "reasonable match" college, with honors, so yay!!!! I am now only waiting on reaches but because I am hispanic me and my family are relatively new to the whole "american college" scene (my parents went to college but we lived in Venezuela originally and are not native to US). </p>
<p>Two of my three reaches are total hail-mary's but how about Rice?

<p>Hooks: URM. Half-blind??? Is that a hook? I mention it in one of my essays. </p>
<p>I have already been accepted into ASU (full ride, national hispanic) and UT Austin (Plan II Honors/ Health Science Honors acceptance as an in-state non auto admit, admitted into Physics) </p>
<p>I think overall my chances look pretty optimistic, objectively-speaking, for Rice, but I wanted to get more opinions. What do you guys think?</p>
<p>EDIT: I should also add I was rejected from Stanford Early Decision.</p>
