Here are my stats... What do you think my chances are of getting into ross preferred admit or the college of engineering...

i am high school class of 2010 and applying as a freshman....
i also live in state, and attend an ib school...

Stats:

gpa school: 3.88
u of m re calc weighted: 3.96
school does not rank

ACT: 33
SAT subject math: 800
(goign to take bio and physics)

Varsity Soccer (jv captain 1 year)
Club Soccer

Lot of community service
Lots of tutoring

Research Project over summer at university...

What do you guys think?

reach for ross, match for lsa

I think you’re definately in for LSA (assuming your 3.96 is right, as you wrote weighted…?)

depends on how competitive your school is

i’d say a bigggggg reach for ross, unless you’re the top at your school, but still a big reach
engineering, maybe so write good essays

This is a really old thread but maybe someone else could find this.
I have a 4.0 and a 31 act, but I honestly never ever ever thought I could get pre-admit (my essays are never amazing)

but I did and it feels great
so i think everyone should apply and spend A LOT of time on the essay!
