Hi!
I'm a girl applying for UMich for the 2010 Fall Admissions, and i was wondering if people here can give me a good, honest opinion as to what my chances are for UMich's Ross BBA program. I am doing Preferred Admissions too.....

I am also an in-state student

I know the average ACT score for Ross is 32..so i am really worried that my ACT score of 30 is way too low for Ross...

Reach for ross
but match for LSA

As blackpen said,
Ross is a reach for you. Your ACT is too low and you don’t have much of leadership (being president of a culture club means little)
But your pretty much in at LSA.

Bing4eva, I got accepted into the PA program with a 30 on my ACT (I’m an incoming freshman). I did, however, have a lot of experience with international affairs and politics. You certainly have the grades to make yourself competitive with the other PA applicants. To make yourself stand out, put A LOT of time into the essay. Think about why you want a business degree. I remember I started my essay by saying I don’t actually see myself going into the “business world” and then talked about how a BBA will help me pursue my interests. Talk about teamwork and challenges you’ve had or even leadership experiences. Be sure to tie those into WHY you want a spot in the PA program.

Best of luck!
