Chances for Rutgers, UMDCP, and Stevens?

<p>Hey guys, I'd appreciate any response!</p>

<p>Male Filipino New Jersey Resident
Intended Major: Computer Science
SAT: 2010 (580 CR, 760 M, 670 W)
ACT: 32 (35 English, 30 Math, 30 Reading, 31 Science, 30 Combined)
GPA: About a 95/100 (my high school is one of those magnet schools, it uses the QPA system) If I were to guess, I think I'd be somewhere from a 3.8-3.9 (I got a B in English this past year)
Course Rigor: All classes are honors level, school offers limited amount of AP's until Senior Year - I still feel it's limited due to requirements made by the school. I'd say I'm taking close to as challenging as you can make your schedule at my school with multiple AP's, computer classes (java, oracle, web design with html5, data security), and spanish
Rank: Class Not Ranked, only 70 in my grade
E.C.: This is my glaring weak point.. not as involved as many people, been volunteering at my church for 4 years and have been on the golf team, got an award for doing an anti-bullying seminar in another country (Philippines), ran a book drive to donate books to a children's center in the Philippines, that's about it</p>

<p>Thanks again!</p>

<p>bump, sorry</p>

<p>UMD: Low match
Rutgers SAS: Safety
Stevens: Safety</p>

<p>Safety for all</p>

<p>Tru CMU as a reach… or even UIUC as a match if you can afford it.</p>

<p>Wow, I expected Rutgers to be a safety, but not the other two. Thanks for the responses everyone. </p>

<p>Yeah, I’m also looking at CMU, Lehigh, and Rensselear. My parents are making me apply to Princeton, but I know I’m not on par with the thousands of applicants Princeton will receive.</p>

<p>Last question… where should I do ED/EA based on the schools I listed?
Rutgers (would be waste imo)
UMD
Stevens
Lehigh
RPI
CMU
Princeton (waste most likely)</p>

<p>I would enjoy going to any of these schools</p>

<p>This verdict is given without ED/EA.</p>

<p>Princeton: Reach (obviously the highest)
CMU: Reach
RPI: Low match
Lehigh: Match</p>

<p>Personally I would use either SCEA or ED on a reach…</p>

<p>Thank you very much!</p>

<p>If anyone else views this, I forgot to add that I am taking SAT Math II, Chem, and Physics - expecting to do well on at least two.</p>
